Tod Redick
Tod L. Redick has over 30 years of experience in astronautics, engineering, and management. He has served as an engineer, senior engineer, and manager for a world-leading communications satellite manufacturer, and additionally holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE).
His extensive background includes overseeing numerous product and satellite failure investigations, which provided Tod with detailed exposure to deriving and identifying root causes. As a Committee of Standards (CoS) member for the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), he participated in creating the AIAA S-111A and S-112A standards for space solar array panels.
Prior to receiving his MSEE, he received a Bachelor of Science in Construction including a business minor. In that venue, he worked on many unique commercial projects and rose from field superintendent to project manager, and then general manager. As a general manager, he experienced the value of personnel management and optimizing operations, and the fragility of long-term profits.
Combining this wealth of experience, he offers valuable perspectives on achieving success in both product development and business operations. He has proposed usage of a successfully field tested risk mitigation system to address organizational systemic deficiencies, contributing to long-term viability in engineering and related high tech industries.
